Her name is Avril R. Lavigne. She was born on 27th September, 1984 in Napanee, Ontario, Canada. She has got a brother, Matt, and a younger sister called Michelle. She has got brown hair (although it is blonde now) and big blue eyes. She is slim but not very tall. She has got a dog. Its name is Sam and it is a miniature schnauzer.
Avril likes writing songs, skateboarding and, of course, singing. In fact, she is a very good singer. She also likes listening to music very much. Her favourite musicians are Sum 41, Beach Boys, Alanis Morisette, Goo Goo Dolls, Matchbox 20 and System of a Down. They are very famous.
